Elton 7/23 Performance
Contrary to a review I read online, my wife and I thought Elton and his band were fantastic, probably even better than we would have expected. The only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the poor set up at MetLife Stadium, specifically the video monitors. There were large speaker towers set up that blocked the view of the 2 video screens on the side of the stage, blocking the view for a significant amount of fans attending the show. It would seem there should have been a much better way to do this. Some of the video was of Elton playing the piano, and shots of the band, which is what you would expect. But a lot of the videos were animated, or included people or shots of things that really had no relevance to the concert.
